Job Type: Full-TimeJob Description:Location: Almeda Banking CenterDuties:
Leads, guides and oversees the bank office operations;
Leads recruiting, hiring, training, counseling, discipline, and evaluation of operations staff;
Aggressively develops and maintains business and personal banking relationships with prospective and existing customers through the sale of loan products, deposit accounts and other banking products and services;
Aggressively solicits new loans and deposits and develops existing relationships;
Designs strategies for new business development and deposit and loan growth within established guidelines;
Accepts and resolves escalated customer service issues;
Reviews and monitors accounts to assess and manage risk according to established guidelines;
Coordinates with facilities management to maintain a safe and functional physical working environment for staff and customers;
Prepares and monitors the office’s budget; reports budget variances;
Reviews, recommends and/or approves all office expenditures according to established Accounting policies and procedures;
Prepares management reports;
Maintains working relationships with other bank office and Central Department staff;
Is committed to performance excellence by maintaining quality standards for the bank office, and ensures that service standards and cooperation ratings established for the office are met or exceeded;
Ensures that bank office employees are knowledgeable of all bank policies, products, services and applicable systems;
Ensures accurate and complete follow-through on all requests made to office;
Ensures office shop score of 90 or better;
Monitors the office’s performance and productivity to ensure contribution to the bank’s profitabilityMinimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED;
Some college preferred;
Five to seven years of progressively more responsible experience in all facets of banking office management, commercial and/or retail lending and development of deposit
Three to five years’ experience in management and/or supervisory roles;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
Ability to work well in a team environment;
Excellent customer service skills;
Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively in a group;
Excellent time management and organizational skills;
Proven team-building, mentoring, training and coaching skills;
Proven ability to make sound judgments and decisions and have an understanding of how decisions affect the bank office and the organization as a whole;
Intermediate-level computer competency to include Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, and Outlook);
Thorough knowledge of banking systems such as Fidelity, Treev, Bankware, Image Depot, etc.;
