Bank Teller / Teller / Banking

Strata Bank is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Bank Teller, reporting to the assigned Branch Manager, within our Retail Banking Division.

Thurs: 1:30-7:30 p.m.
Fri: 1:30-5:30 p.m.
&
Sat: 8:15-1:30 p.m.

The position includes providing quality customer service while performing routine teller transactions. Additional duties include ATM balancing, supply ordering, safe deposit coverage, and demonstrating an understanding of the Bank’s retail products to recognize cross sell opportunities and customer referrals while assisting the Branch in reaching its sales goals.

REQUIREMENTS
The qualified candidate will be responsible for:
Running a cash drawer and meeting daily balancing guidelines
Knowledge of the Bank’s retail products
Strong communication skills to interface with customers, both internal and external
Demonstrating strong team skills by assisting with the sales and branch goals
Ability to problem solve and work independently upon completion of training

Qualifications require
One year of previous cash handling experience, preferably with reconciliation skills to balance cash drawer at the end of the day
Strong, basic math skills to deal with balancing and reconciliation duties
Outstanding customer service skills and proven work history dealing with customers
Basic knowledge of computers to be able to learn the teller software
Ability to adhere to the professional dress code and interest in working within a business environment
