Bank Reconciliation Specialist

Job Summary:

To reconcile, clear & maintain outstanding items for all bank accounts.

Essential Functions:

- Timely and accurate reconciliation.
Period journal entries.
Support centers in resolving discrepancies.
Proactively review processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Comply with internal controls and protect the assets of the Company.
Perform self-review to identify problems and solutions.

Experience and Education:

- Associate's degree with an accounting/banking background. Minimum 1 year of related work experience required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to reconcile bank to GL transactions.
Understanding of flow of bank and GL entries.
Knowledge of debits and credits.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to problem solve and work independently.
Working knowledge of reconciliation software is preferred
