Bank Customer Service Assistant

Responsibilities:

Provides first contact resolution of customer requests and issues
Makes sound business decisions for customers and State Farm Bank
Initiates calls to customers and/or vendors to obtain information or resolve problems
Uses specialized knowledge to support customers, Agents, Bank Response Center representatives and other business partners
Answers telephone and/or email inquiries from customers and agents (direct customer facing/contact).
Requires knowledge of State Farm Bank products, and/or services.
Uses computer and telecommunications systems to process transactions, respond to inquiries, troubleshoot and fulfill requests for information.
Processes and/or routes transactions, requests, and inquiries using established procedures.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
Some college courses are an added plus.
Banking product knowledge or bank teller experience are helpful.
Strong phone communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.

Typing Speed: 30+ Words per Minute

Additional Information:

There is an 18 month incumbency period.
Full and Part-time positions available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift.
Incumbent may work irregular hours based on workload and job requirements.
