MANAGER
Lake County Government in Lake County, IL seeks to hire a Budget Manager to perform highly responsible work in assisting the Director of Finance and Administrative Services in directing and coordinating the County's budget and budget process. Assignments are subject to broad policy guidelines. Work involves conducting management reviews of departmental operations for improved efficiency; supervising Budget and Research Analysts; managing the County's performance measurement system; and conducting on-going budget analysis by tracking expenditures and reviewing requests for line item transfers.

Education and/or Other Requirements:
Completion of a bachelor's degree in business, public administration, accounting or related area, supplemented by a graduate degree in public administration, business administration or related field.
Five years of progressively responsible experience in public administration and budget analysis or any equivalent combination of training and experience

$72,137 - $91,469
