Praxair Distribution, Inc., North American leader in industrial, medical and specialty gases; welding equipment and supplies, is seeking a Branch Retail Manager to oversee a Corpus Christi, TX branch.Job Duties: Coordinates and directs the activities within branch to meet or exceed sales and margin targets. Effectively manages all branch operating costs and directs staff to perform their job duties in compliance with Safety standards. Supervises the daily activities of counter sales, route sales, and branch personnel in a manner consistent with Praxair’s Leadership values. Provides guidance to team members on how to provide service consistent with Customer Based Behaviors. Ensures adequate inventory levels are maintained and monitors purchases to control expenses. Responsible for branch reporting. Additional Job Requirements of the Branch Retail Manager: Knowledge of packaged gases and welding equipment helpful.
