Assistant Loan Supervisor, Job #0620 in Towson
The Assistant Loan Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the coordination and supervision of the daily activities of the Loan Department. The Assistant Supervisor underwrites a wide variety of consumer loan products and originates and processes first mortgage loans. In addition, the Assistant Supervisor co-supervises Loan Department personnel in all aspects of their work performance, ensuring that employees are adequately trained and coaching and counseling employees to ensure goal achievement. This person also assists with setting work schedules, allocating and monitoring work, ensuring compliance with all pertinent policies and regulations, and overseeing daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service to Baltimore County Employees Federal Credit Union members.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess expertise in credit analysis and a sound knowledge of banking products and services. In addition, the qualified candidate will possess knowledge of consumer lending regulations and the residential mortgage lending market as well as FNMA, FHA, and VA guidelines. This position requires the following:
(1) Graduation from an accredited high school or G.E.D. and
(2) Five years of experience in the consumer and/or residential mortgage lending field, preferably in a Credit Union, including one year in a supervisory capacity or successful completion of an approved supervisory training program.
