McAllen, TXDescription of Duties:Assists the Bank Security Administrator in protecting people, assets and property through the implementation of the Bank’s security program, internal fraud prevention and insurance coverage.
Security issues encompass insurance coverage including liability, workers compensation and property policies, internal operating losses and security systems and equipment.
Acts as liaison with Bank officials and law enforcement agencies and deals with the investigation of internal crimes, customer fraud and related crimes against the Bank.
Conducts accident investigations and completes accident report documentation.
Other responsibilities include security and accident prevention training of bank personnel, Bank Secrecy Act and litigation issues.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:
A self-starting individual who possesses the following skills: A High School diploma or equivalent, a four year college degree in business, criminal justice or related fields and at least two years of experience in banking operations or a related field is required.
Up to two years of previous bank operations experience may be substituted for up to two years of college requirement.
Working knowledge of bank security or financial crime investigations and operations is essential.
Flexibility, professionalism, ability to work in a highly stressful environment and perform a variety of tasks with numerous interruptions is necessary.
Attention to detail and a high degree of mental concentration are required, as well as the ability to change quickly from one task to another.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills are also required.Preferred Job / Skill Level:Four years bank operations experience, familiarity with Bank Insurance, previous experience dealing with litigation.
Related bank operations and security courses are preferred.
