Cub Foods is the market share leader of the Twin Cities grocery stores. We are looking for full time loss prevention agents to work in our stores. We have opportunities in our Twin Cities store or our Duluth location. Nature and Scope of the position:Emphasis on specified investigative procedures and apprehension of shoplifters and internal dishonesty. Prior training or experience in law enforcement or security is desirable. Knowledge of related state and local regulations. Required to respond in a tactful and discretionary manner when confronting and diffusing situations. Must ensure confidentiality. Majority of time is spent on store surveillance. Documentation of all incidents. Requires ongoing judgment, decision making, reading, writing, walking and standing. Position functions and work hours may vary according to business needs. We are a 24 hour operation
REQUIREMENTS
Frequent - Pushing/pulling 25 to 75 pounds, walking, equipment operation (shopping carts, radio, phone, cameras) Mental - Judgment/Decision Making, Memorization, Social Skills, Verbal Interaction, Reading and Writing. Occasional - Lifting 10 to 25 pounds, climbing stairs, running, equipment operation - handcuffs.
