Asset Manager

Summary
Manages daily operations of the asset management program including staffing, scheduling, training and coordination of activities by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Administers the equipment inventory to ensure maintenance of efficiency standards.

Oversees and may participate in delivery and retrieval of equipment to and from designated areas throughout the facility, daily location verification rounds and performing decontamination procedures.

Responsible for the positive relationship and communication between the client facility management and personnel.

Provides education and in-service training for client facility personnel as needed.

Ensures compliance with all MEDIQ, facility and regulatory policies and procedures.

Generates and disseminates reports as requested by management.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of company standard Internet software; Inventory software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
