Asset Manager - #22352

Our client, a large Real Estate Finance company has an opportunity for an Asset Manager.This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of non-transfer and specially serviced loans and establishing a workout strategy on these assets including understanding real estate markets, property deficiencies, and borrower deficiencies.Candidate will ascertain the value of a real estate asset and facilitate communication regarding the non-transfer requirements of the Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities Pooling and Servicing Agreements.
He or she will be involved in all strategic management and investment decisions and will have primary responsibility for the operating performance and value enhancement of the company's real estate assets.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Finance required.
Ideal candidate must have a minimum of 4-5 years experience in loan asset management including non-transfer events, workouts and litigation, or other related transferable skills.
Candidate must also have a strong real estate background and understanding of specific property-type and property-level issues.
Candidates must be able to structure, negotiate, and close non-transfer assets and SS assets, work effectively and maintain good relationships with outside counsel for all asset types covered above.
