Asset Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY: Assists in coordinating the daily activities of the AssetAdvantage staff as dictated by the asset manager. Additionally, will utilize a PC based computer system to track medical equipment throughout a facility or facilities. Also participates in: Delivery and retrieval of equipment to and from designated areas throughout the facility, Collection of soiled and/or used equipment from designated areas for decontamination, Performing equipment decontamination procedures according to company and customer guidelines, Daily equipment location and verification rounds, and other appropriate activities as deemed necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES•Assist in the scheduling and training of AssetAdvantage staff.•Follow guidelines as prescribed by Regional Manager to manage customer’s equipment inventory and ensure maintenance of efficiency standards.•Help asset manager monitor daily and monthly performance metrics.
•Participate in delivery and retrieval of equipment to and from designated areas throughout the facility, daily location verification rounds and performs equipment decontamination procedures according to company and customer guidelines.•Utilize a PC based computer system to track equipment throughout the facility.•Help to facilitate a positive relationship and communication with the customer’s management and personnel.•Assist in providing education and in-service training for customer’s personnel as needed
•Assists with projects, inventories, or other special requests as needed.•Demonstrates a pro-active approach towards safety and health in compliance with all company, governmental and customer regulations in the areas of HAZCOM, ECP/ICP, JACHO, HIPAA, substance abuse/drug free workplace, Standards of Ethical Business Conduct, back safety and patient transfer protocols and maintenance of a clean/safe work environment.
•Participation in and completion of required safety meetings and medical testing.
•Other duties may be assigned.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:•Assists asset manager with supervision of 10-30 Asset Specialists (Varies by location)QUALIFICATIONS:•The ability to perform all essential duties and responsibilities in safe and ethical manner.•Ability to comprehend company and facility guidelines for equipment decontamination and verification procedures.•Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.•Ability to effectively communicate with AssetAdvantage staff, management and customers

•Ability to walk up to seven miles per day.
EDUCATION AND/OR ADDIIONAL PREFERD EXPERIENCE
•High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
•General computer knowledge with intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Internet required.
• Prior experience with inventory management of any type is preferred.
