Asscociate / Assitant Vice President
Asscociate & Assitant Vice President level. Join our top notch team. Great benifits including 4 weeks paid vacation and 401k. The team submits exposure, counterparty / borrower and collateral data for the Americas region into the global Group Risk Controlling. The data is used for German regulatory and management reporting as well as for public disclosure. We also support certain German regulatory reporting requirements directly (banking statistics and ‘KWG 14’). In addition, the data is used in the region by LEC and regional regulatory reporting.
Responsibilities
·Responsibility for one or more data feeds. This includes loading and validating the data and quality assurance (reconciliation to the general ledger, review and explanation of month-to-month changes both in the original data and in the results fed back by Group Risk Controlling).
·Co-operation with BAC and CRM to resolve data-related issues and questions.
·Maintenance and development of the assigned data feeds (e.g. to improve efficiency or to comply with new requirements), testing (UAT) of system changes.
·Depending on specific role and level, co-ordination or support of month-end reporting processes (e.g. RWA, GVA).
·Depending on level, co-operation or lead in team projects (e.g. development of new data feeds, systems roll out, implementation of new requirements, process re-engineering).
REQUIREMENTS
NEED BANK ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE:
·University graduate, preferably with Finance or Economics course work.
·Depending on level, 1 - 5 yrs prior professional experience.
·Knowledge of banking products, including complex investment products and an understanding of accounting principles and banking / broker-dealer regulations.
·Strong analytical skills and interest in using them by analyzing complex data structures.
·Strong focus on internal controls and integrity of data.
·Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access).
·Good communication skills – ability to discuss and escalate technical and financial issues.
·Strong team-working skills.
