Armed Vault Worker

Job Description

Loomis, Fargo & Co. seeks highly qualified individuals to join our company as Armed Vault Workers.

Vault workers receive, verify, sort disperse and account for vault cargo items. They check identifying numbers on seals against the receipts. Load/unload carts with bags of currency and/or coin and sort individual cargo items by route. The job duties include the following physical abilities:

Load/unload carts with coin weighing at least 50 pounds
Ability to maintain stooped or squatting position for several minutes to perform the sorting function
Ability to stand on concrete floor approximately 80% of shift
Work in a room within a vault with little or no exposure to outside light
Enter route data into computer system


Hours: Monday thru Friday 3pm to close (most evenings 11:00pm) $10.30 per hour. Must be have or be able to obtain a MA pistol permit

Requirements:

Applicant must have:

A strong math aptitude
Excellent data entry skills
Great attention to detail

There are 3 openings and one hired individuals must possess a CDL license because they will be required to drive a nightly shuttle to another Loomis branch. That individual will receive additional compensation for the shuttle run.

Additional qualifications are as follows:

Be at least 21 years of age
A steady employment history
A good credit rating
Pass a comprehensive background check that includes a criminal history check and a pre-employment polygraph
Pre-employment drug screen
