Area Manager, Junior In this entry-level sales position, the successful candidate will be relied on to originate and solicit new non-prime residential loan business, which includes providing basic service/support to Business Partners and developing an understanding of the full menu of products offered under the Specialty Lending banner, after the completion of a 12- to 18-month sales training program. Key functions will include conducting solicitation calls to support the origination of B/C loans, in addition to managing a multi-client loan portfolio, ensuring that all pre-funding requirements are met. Responsibilities will also include communicating loan status to Business Partners and written reports to the Area Manager on all sales call activities, conducting outside sales presentations and training seminars for Business Partners in their assigned area, and conducting on-site inspection of clients’ premises when requested.Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Less than 1 year of experience in a sales environment, preferably within wholesale mortgage lending.

Demonstrated sales ability with strong presentation skills.

Proven business development and territory management skills.

Excellent organization and time management skills.

Strong verbal/written communication skills.
