Appraisal Coordinator
NOVASTAR MORTGAGE, a leader in the mortgage industry, is looking for a talented individual to join our Portfolio Retention Servicing Team within the Columbia, MD Retail Servicing Division of NovaStar Mortgage, Inc. This ever-growing division services NovaStar's already 10 billion loan portfolio!
The Appraisal Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Processing staff, Underwriting and Management for all Appraisal related functions.
Responsibilities include:
Maintaining the Appraisal Department log of reviews with current status.
Maintenance of all appraisal documents.
Faxing of information when requested.
Maintain the filing of all completed appraisal review assignments.
Order fee reviews when requested, this includes copying, faxing,etc..
REQUIREMENTS
Travel Percentage: 0%Qualified candidates must have the following:
Minimum of one year of experience in an adminstrative or clerical role.
Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to work quickly, accurately and with attention to detail in a high volume environment.
Able to juggle multiple tasks at the same time and switch to new tasks quickly.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
High school diploma or equivalent is required. College degree is prefered.
