Analyst, Client Acceptance Review

1.Process M@OS (on a rotating basis)
2.Maintain the CARD files as assigned
3.Analyze questionable documentation with the business until a satisfactory result is achieved
4.Initial follow up for missing documentation via inclusion in Approved to Proceed (ATP) message or upon review of a file (subsequent follow up is the responsibility of the Business based upon CARD’s monthly documentation exception reports to the CAC)
5.Process new and existing clients making sure the guidelines for AML due diligence are in place
6.Assist the business with obtaining the correct documentation
7.Maintain NYK CARD Lotus Notes as necessary
8.Report trading / sales exceptions to Business Management and the Head of Compliance as necessary
9.Liaise with various departments as necessary, e.g., CCR, O&M, individual sales groups, other areas of Trading Operations
10.Assist the business when needed with the CARS system and AML requirements.
11.Special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
-College degree in a business related discipline
-5 years related experience within the financial services/investment banking industry, preferably within compliance or new account documentation review.
-Must have knowledge of AML, KYC, and US Patriot Act.
-Strong oral and written communication skills
-Must be well organized, detail oriented and have the ability to prioritize work effectively
-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
