POSITION SUMMARY:The Senior Marketing Business Applications Analyst works in a lead role in developing and maintaining Database Marketing related computer files and software. Perform a broad variety of technical and quality assurance tasks essential to providing the underlying structure for Database Marketing. Provide reporting and analysis and present clear and insightful information to key internal customers within Marketing, Sales and/or Executive Management. Perform all duties in accordance with Argent policies and procedures and all state and federal regulations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage marketing databases, applications and systems including campaign management applications, marketing data marts, development databases and business databases
Provide on-going monitoring of the content and quality of database marketing files, ensuring the highest accuracy attainable; identifying deficiencies; and seeking remedies where applicable
Provide technical support to other marketing staff in the application and use of database file systems and system interfaces
Proactively manage the relationship between the Argent Business Technology departments and the Marketing department, especially regarding Marketing goals and initiatives
Oversee the campaign management process, systems, and associate resources
Manage and support customer-marketing campaigns
Perform data retrieval, manipulation and analysis using specialized database management software
Partner with other areas of the organization to help refine marketing tactics by providing consistent and accurate data
Work with vendors to ensure that customer lists are clean, standardized and ready for mail campaign drops-
Manage campaigns utilizing CRM and Marketing Warehouse data / databases
Provide expertise and support as a core team member for Marketing on all CRM enhancements and maintenance; provide feedback and support on all CRM user acceptance testing
Assist in the development and maintenance of broker analytics programs
Develop and execute processes and technological improvements that increase the accuracy and efficiency of the Marketing Analytics group
Ensure and maintain the creation, storage and organization of marketing data for marketing events and sponsorships-

Skilled use of database management software including SQL Server, Sybase or Oracle in the management of 10 million plus record databasesEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Bachelors degree in Computer Science; related certification in System Administration; an equivalent combination of education and experience
-Typically requires a minimum of 5 years in supporting marketing data warehouses and databases
Experience in the support of marketing systems as a systems/applications administrator or related field
Recent experience using marketing databases and the related interfaces such as Interactive Media Systems (IMS) and IMark (Claritas), Dun & Bradstreet (Spectrum) and large household files such as Polk, Equifax, Donnelly or Experian
Experience in the support of internal marketing customers and providing technical solutions for marketing purposes
