So for ethical, talented people like you, there's a career in the making.POSITION SUMMARY:Manage the valuation of a mortgage servicing portfolio with over 400,000 loans and a principal balance in excess of $60 Billion. This is one of the largest non-prime mortgage portfolios in the country and is poised for more growth. This is an essential position charged with monitoring and measuring the performance of this portfolio through internal valuations, third party mark-to-markets, prepayment and delinquency tracking and other value added analyses.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform monthly mortgage serving valuation, sensitivity analysis, and other valuation related analyses.

Prepare and maintain reports and supporting documentation for monthly serving valuations.

Periodically review/modify methodologies and assumptions for monthly serving valuations

Assist with accounting impairment and amortization analysis

Support and reconcile with third party valuations and analysis

Review bids and servicing pools

Develop and maintain servicing valuation procedures

Perform other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & LICENSES:
Financial modeling experience, especially with mortgage assets

Excellent systems knowledge

Knowledge of mortgage banking

Excellent organization skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Interpersonal skillsEDUCATION AND ExPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance/Accounting

3-7 years experience in Mortgage Banking idea

2+ years experience with MSR valuation preferable
