This dynamic, growth opportunity plays a critical role in enhancing our management reporting, business controls & process execution. Successful candidates will provide meaningful, value-added capital expenditure reports & analyses. Responsible for the control, reporting & analysis of all capital job costing. Assist in transitioning from a manual process to a comprehensive system solution. Continue to improve the projection process, drive business decisions & impact profitability.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities include:
Oversee the monthly closeout & accrual process for all store & non-store planning costs. Ensure that all costs are accounted for, accrued & that all variances are explained
Analyze & test the automated reporting & analysis solution for capital job costing
Develop a template & systemic solution to project cost modeling used to determine project feasibility & measure performance throughout a project
Implement structured sales & project cost analyses used to measure results, impact business model decisions & improve profitability
Prepare Board of Director reporting & ad-hoc analysis supporting Sr. Leadership
Present Facility expense analyses with a focus on Return on Investment
Identify & measure financial & process improvements for accuracy & timeliness
Research & document business rules & practices with all functional team partners
Maintain key business partnerships between Construction, Real Estate, Accounting, & IS teams
Proactive intermediary between Store Planning associates in Construction, Store Design, Store Purchasing & Accounting
Project leadership skills
Base salary from $80,000 to $90,000Ref: 1142019
REQUIREMENTS
Position Requirements:
Strong compilation, analytical & audit skills based on a broad variety of business and technical experiences utilizing a systems & process approach
Must deal effectively with ambiguities & identify financial & operational opportunities
Motivated, creative and conscientious self-starter who appreciates challenges and takes ownership. Must be able to meet tight deadlines and manage projects through strong functional expertise
Confident & curious personality with a drive to influence & impact future business practices
BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other business field
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel. Access & Oracle experience a plus
5-7 years experience. Job-cost accounting experience is necessary. Construction & Real Estate experience preferred. Retail experience a plus
