Accounting and Finance Manager
Oak Trust Credit Union is looking for an Accounting Manager. This person will assist with the implementation of new services, communicate policy & procedure changes within department, conduct feasibility & cost studies, ensure departmental compliance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures, manage the overall disaster recovery and records retention programs, oversee preparation of financial analysis and Board reports, resolve audit and exam findings, etc. This person will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of inter-company account activity, reconciliation of accounts, year-end consolidation journal entries, and employee benefit allocations. In addition, they will manage (hires, trains, develops and evaluates) a staff of 2-4.
REQUIREMENTS
Accounting and Finance Manager
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, minimum of four years of related experience (Prior people management experience is preferred)
Knowledge of ALM principles, strong, current knowledge of accounting matters
Strong planning and organizational skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Analytical ability to identify problems and recommend solutions
Banking or credit union experience preferred
