Accounting/Finance Manager

Manager of Financial ReportingOur client is one of the worlds largest Media holding companies looking to continue expansion in their NYC office.
This position is responsible for the preparation of consolidated financial statements compliant with GAAP and SEC Reporting requirements.Major duties of this role include:
Preparation of SEC forms 10K,10Q, 11K and 8K.
Maintenance of adequate support documentation to support financial releases.
Suggest and implement improvements to system of internal controls and processes including disclosure controls.
Preparation of analytics, both internal and external.
Monitor developments and trends with respect to regulatory requirements, GAAP and industry.
Researching and responding to technical inquires, including formulating accounting impact.
Assist in development of financial reporting and accounting documentation.
Work closely with senior management on special projects.
Salary of $70000 to $90000 plus a bonus.Ref: 1142525
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must have:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBACPA Designation
Proficient technical skills with respect to GAAP and SEC reporting
Prior management experience with proven ability to lead others
Technically proficient with Microsoft Office; Hyperion a major plus
