Accountant/Web Sales, Sales Tax and Bank Activity:
Growing company in Northwest Indiana seeks experienced Accountant to handle accounting for new activities related to web based sales and related transactions.


Responsibilities:

•Maintain confidentiality of all financial data

•Process and monitor daily activity for new Web based transactions including Bank Recons, Credit card transactions, g/l interface, daily postings, etc.


•Account reconciliations, journal entries; preparation of various accounting reports.

REQUIREMENTS
• Candidate must have in-depth experience with Sales Tax and related research capabilities.
• Candidate must be degreed, CPA preferred.

• Previous experience in Large Bank Reconciliations and/or credit card transactions preferred.
• Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft WORD and EXCEL.
• Must be able to efficiently manage time and organize tasks to ensure accurate and timely completion of all requirements.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals at various levels within the organization and outside the company.
• Must be willing to perform tasks that may fall outside the scope of the given job description as needed.

This position will require a great deal of initiative, ability to look for solutions, and will have limited direct supervision. Candidates must be thorough and capable of problem-solving and follow up.
