Account Manager

General Summary: Ensure prompt and efficient service to Brokers as liaison between Brokers, Underwriters, Appraisal Reviewers, Account Executives and Funders. Manage assigned pipeline to insure timely and efficient action. Ensure that all underwriting requirements/conditions are satisfied prior to printing loan-closing documents from pipeline of approved loans. Ensure all mandated and required procedures are applied to pipeline loans being cancelled or denied. Essential Duties: - Manage pipeline to ensure adherence to company lending and service standards - Deliver conditional loan approvals to brokers - Communicate with brokers to provide status of loans - Confirm rates and fees charged and input data into loan origination system for documentation preparation - Request loan documentation to satisfy underwriting conditions - Remain current on company requirements and ensure compliance - Maintain clear, consistent line of communication between the Broker, Underwriter, Funder and assigned Account Executives - Restructure files as necessary - Provide back up when required - Provide training to other Account Managers as assigned - Various duties as requiredJob Requirements
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - College degree in business or finance preferred - Proven 3 years experience working in a production residential lending environment - 2-3 years experience in mortgage loan processing, underwriting and/or funding - Experience working with automated loan processing/closing software - Strong organization and communication skills - Basic understanding of residential mortgage loan terminology, credit process and documentation - Ability to work with minimal supervision, assume multiple tasks and establish priorities to meet service standards - Proficient with Microsoft Office
