We are currently seeking WHOLESALE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVES for our Phoenix & Tucson AZ territories. This position is responsible for obtaining quality mortgage loans via sales efforts through contacts with mortgage brokers.

Additional position responsibilities will include the following:

Developing and maintaining relationships through marketing and prospecting for new business. Responsible for providing Agents, Builders and Borrowers with loan product parameters, information and guidelines. Responsible for discussing program options with borrowers and answering agents/builders questions regarding guidelines.

Obtaining complete loan applications, making sure that they comply with all government regulations. The loan application must be turned in to processing within 24 hours so that the appropriate disclosures can be issued in a timely manner.

Determination of acceptable income / assets/ debts must be made and a pre-qualification must be completed and retained in the file.

Responsible for pipeline management. A weekly review is to be made of the pipeline to monitor lock expirations, credit/appraisal problems and status.

Responsible for keeping all parties involved in the transaction informed of status and if problems arise, communicate with all parties to resolve the problem.

Monitor daily price changes and locks. Make borrowers aware of the necessary steps to facilitate locking their loan. Lock all loans in an acceptable time frame prior to closing and obtain a signed lock agreement form the borrower.

Communicate and work closely with the Wholesale Account Manager to insure loan closings proceed as scheduled.

Assist closing department in obtaining required documentation from borrowers, builder or agents after closing, when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE: REQUIRES a MINIMUM of ONE to TWO years WHOLESALE MORTGAGE SALES experience.

EDUCATION: Knowledge, skills and mental development equivalent to two years of college or business technical school. Mortgage educational courses; MBA/Compliance.

SKILLS: The following demonstrated competencies are critical to performing the functions of this job: Excellent listening, organizational skills and figure aptitude. Must possess good organizational and interpersonal skills; to include oral and written communication(s). Must be able to work independently with little supervision. Must have good working knowledge of mortgage industry guidelines, government regulations and compliance.
