AZ-Mortgage Corporate Trainer

This position is responsible for the training needs assessment, design, development and delivery of a quality new hire training program. The Corporate Trainer will use classroom training experience to develop training methods and materials to effectively train audiences at a variety of levels within the organization. This position will require a strong knowledge of the mortgage industry. This position will work closely with Sr. Management to keep abreast of policy and procedure changes to make appropriate changes to training materials. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are a necessity for this position.
Essential Job Functions
•Design and develop a quality training method and training program for the Mortgage Operations Department
•Develop written training materials for end user that are precise and comprehensive.
•Develop a written training schedule to coincide with the corporate business plan.
•Facilitate training to a variety of skill levels within the Mortgage Operations Department.
•Facilitate the development of a conducive and effective training environment.
•Create and maintain a database to monitor training activities, schedules, priorities, attendance and training needs.
•Develop a written testing process to access the success of the training program.
•Document test results to identify needed improvements in the training program and provide Sr. management with performance reports.
•Interact with Sr. Management to keep abreast of corporate policy changes to make appropriate changes to the training materials or schedules.
•Provide ongoing excellent written and oral communication with internal and external customers.
•Interact with other departments in a professional manner ensuring teamwork.
REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
•Minimum 2 years experience in mortgage industry. Mortgage Operations experience preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to train people with a wide variety of technical and non-technical skills and backgrounds.
•Adept at getting and maintaining the attention and involvement of classroom participants.
•Exceptional articulation and interpersonal skills.
•Self-starter that possess initiative, strong organizational skills, project management skills, decision-making and leadership skills.
•Demonstrates professional behavior and teamwork, is punctual, dependable and results oriented.
•Must have Strong knowledge of PCs and related software such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
•Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks while meeting critical deadlines
•Increased customer service and ability to relate and work well with others
•Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated creative ability
