AVP Regional Recruiter - Midwest
Contact and market, through the self generation of leads, rep/advisor prospects for the purpose of recruiting appropriate candidates to the firm, including managing the acceptance process, as well as follow-up and follow-through to successful transition of the rep/advisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
·To create recruiting leads through outgoing solicitations, and then review for potential match with the firm. Professional screening of recruiting opportunities.
·Participate in marketing projects, including but not limited to: website enhancement and updates, public relations, brochure layout, design and content and account management with outside platforms (such as Schwab, Waterhouse, PAS, etc.)
·Travel to/from office to various destinations including but not limited to home office, conferences and face-to-face meetings with potential rep/advisors.
·Timely assistance with reports including but not limited to: production reports, first call reports, and pipeline reports.
·To perform timely and accurate analysis on departmental procedures on a regular basis and report out to the members of senior management on different possibilities for efficiencies within the areas of responsibilities.
·To participate as needed in firm’s conferences and effectively interface with rep/advisors for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing relationships for future contacts.
·To maintain up-to-date recruiting records in the recruiting and transition database and to treat such information with discretion and confidentiality
·To learn and keep informed about all areas of our industry, as it relates specifically to areas of responsibility.
·To interact professionally both via telephone and in person with our representatives and external recruiters daily and assist them with any issues surrounding areas of responsibility.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram or schedule form.
Computer Skills:
Database software; e-mail; Internet software; spreadsheets; word-processing; presentation (i.e. PowerPoint) software; proprietary custom software.

REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience.
Certificates and Licenses:
Series 7 required, 24 recommended and preferred.
