AVP, Financial Analysis

Assistant Vice President, Financial AnalysisPrimary Responsibilities Include:

Assisting in the ongoing development, validation and maintenance of consolidated earnings forecast and risk management reports for senior management.

Owning/leading ad-hoc projects that relate to the department function.

Interacting with internal departments to obtain required financial data and to ensure data integrity.

Producing forecast and risk management reports focusing on analysis of forward looking interest rate risk exposure, with emphasis on net interest income sensitivity.A successful candidate will have:

Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Statistics.

3-5 years experience in financial analysis and modeling (forecasting, budgeting or valuation).

Extensive experience in the use of QRM’s Asset-Liability Management system.

Understanding of complex models.

Proficiency in SQL.

Extensive Excel skills.

Excellent communication skills.The ideal candidate may also possess:

Mortgage and Commercial Banking experience.

QRM (Balance Sheet Management) experience, database query (e.g., SQL), programming expertise in several languages (e.g., VB, C++) and statistics package experience.

Additional computer skills.
