Assistant Vice President, District Manager II
The Retail Sales department contributes to Countrywide Bank’s success by delivering the best products available to meet our customer’s needs, thereby creating a base of profitability for the Bank. In addition, we develop and service the deposit business of the Bank through our Financial Centers and Branches.
The Assistant Vice President, District Manager II is responsible for managing an area of 4 to 6 Financial Centers with 12 or more employees and average deposits of $100+ million per location.
Primary responsibilities include:

Leading, coaching, managing, and recruiting Financial Service Representatives, Financial Service Executives and Market Area Representative.

Work closely with Countrywide Investment Services and Premier Business Banking.
Generate deposits through the sale of deposits through Financial Center and Virtual Call Center channels.

Develop and drive strategies for increased production and market penetration. Create new business through community involvement and other proactive outreach activities.

Generates leads through creativity and also by partnering with the Marketing group.

Consistently supports the commitment to compliance by adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and the Countrywide Bank's policies and procedures and reporting all incidences of noncompliance to immediate manager.

Train and coach Financial Center team members on the sale of Bank products and to proficiently profile, cross sell, and refer bank customers.

Coordinate with business partners to implement CD retention and renewal strategy.

Accountable for ensuring participation levels are adhered to for Virtual Call Center.

Work with Compliance and Risk Management to ensure operational integrity, BSA, and CIP requirements are maintained.

Assure that adequate resources and training are provided sufficient to insure full compliance with all regulatory requirements and that such commitment to compliance is fully communicated to the staff, internal and external clients and other parties within the manager’s area of responsibility.

Perform special projects and other work-related duties as assigned.
A successful candidate will have:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 3 years Sales experience and at least 2 years of management experience.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to lead and motivate others.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.
