AVP, Business Development

Assistant Vice President, Business DevelopmentThis position manages business development for subservicing and other related loan administration business-to-business services.Primary Responsibilities Include:

Sourcing for business partnership opportunities within a defined target market.

Researching and networking within the mortgage servicing industry to locate additional potential targets beyond predefined targets.

Seeking, and effectively communicating to management, insights on trends in the marketplace and the competitive landscape.

Penetrating prospective targets and then maintaining long-term relationships with the key contacts within the target organizations.

Converting prospects into business partners through traditional consultative sales techniques.

Providing input on marketing and sales strategies as well as pricing and relevant marketing materials.

Representing the division, as appropriate, at client sales meetings, at national trade association and trade association sub-group meetings, and/or at other appropriate regional or national forums.A successful candidate will have:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Marketing or a related subject.

Extensive knowledge of mortgage and financial services industry and technology trends, and current economic events.

Knowledge of the laws regulating mortgage banking and financial services.

Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA and other industry standards as these relate to loan administration processes and procedures.

Knowledge of loan administration operations outsourcing.

Proficiency in current computer software, such as Lotus Notes, Excel, PowerPoint and ACT!.

Effective verbal/written communication skills, including presentation and negotiation skills.
