ACCOUNTANT I

Position Description: Major Responsibilities: Responsibilities include providing accurate and timely responses to voicemails and emails. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers; actively work aging reports, rematch requests and account reconciliations. Respond timely to invoice and payment status inquires.

Working knowledge of PeopleSoft Accounts Payable module (8.4 preferred).





Minimum Qualifications:
(Job related skills, experience, and education): High School diploma or equivalent experience required, Bachelor's degree a plus. 4 years experience in an Accounts Payable or related field required, high attention to detail with excellent communication and organization skills. Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel and Access required.
Previous experience with PeopleSoft Financials. Familiarity with basic accounting principles required. Ability to work overtime as required. Candidate must be a self-starter and the ability to work with little or no supervision.
