Warranty Consultant/Auditor

MSX International is actively hiring for a Warranty Consultant/Advisor in the Michigan area to analyze dealer warranty data and historical dealer warranty claims. Responsibilities include the ability to Change Dealers behavior towards warranty activity; Improve Dealer warranty processes and work practices; Identify and reduce Dealers audit risk; Help reduce Dealers warranty costs; Impact Dealers efficiency and Customer Satisfaction; Help Dealers understanding of Warranty Policy and Procedures Manual compliances; Perform detailed in-dealer reviews covering all areas affecting warranty within the Service Department (from Reception, through Workshop to Administration); Monitor and analyze all dealership Service and Parts Dept. processes affecting warranty.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have at least eight years of experience in an automotive OEM or dealership service. He/she will have an extensive knowledge and understanding of Automotive Warranty Policy & Procedure; knowledge of Automotive Industry Service & Parts Standards and Best Practices; knowledge of Warranty Audit procedures; knowledge of OEM repair procedures. Must be able to analyze warranty data and associated trend He/she must have the ability to operate on a PC laptop, and have experience with Microsoft Office. We also require experience with Automotive Dealer Communications and Management Systems. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and negotiation and training skills. This position also requires somebody who it able to travel on a regular basis. ASE Certification is required.
