PURPOSE:
Manage assigned wholesale automobile dealer relationships and monitor their performance. Assist in the development of new wholesale business.
DUTIES:
1) Analyze the financial and credit background for assigned dealer's wholesale credit requests. Prepare clear and concise recommendations to the Executive Committee for their review and approval within established time frames.
2) Perform financial, credit and performance reviews of existing credits. Prepare approval memorandums for review and approval of line or loan additions or increases, as well as annual reviews of all assigned dealers.
3) Monitor assigned dealers' wholesale performance and ensure compliance with MMCA wholesale release policy by reviewing audit performance results and taking appropriate corrective and/or educational action with dealership personnel as appropriate.
4) Develop new wholesale business by providing information about wholesale programs, policy and financial statement analysis, as well as participating in joint sales as needed.
5) Perform due diligence reviews of existing and prospective wholesale dealer's books as needed.
6) Prepare reports and discuss pertinent information regarding assigned wholesale accounts at the monthly Credit Committee meeting.
7) Provide job related guidance and direction to Associate Wholesale Account Managers.
REQUIRED:
1) Five + years experience in automobile dealer finance with experience in credit, collections, business development and wholesale credit analysis.
2) BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
3) Strong PC experience including Excel.
4) Comprehensive knowledge of dealer financial statements.
PREFERRED:
1) MBA
2) Prior captive automobile commercial credit experience.

Originally established as Mitsubishi Motor Sales of America, Inc. (MMSA) in 1981, Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) is the exclusive full-line distributor of Mitsubishi cars throughout North America. Headquartered in Cypress, California, MMNA has expanded its network of dealers from its original 73 outlets in 1982 to over 575 retailers nationwide. The Sales Division of MMNA has approximately 580 employees.
Our subsidiary, Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America, Inc. (MMCA), was established to support sales growth by providing innovative and competitive wholesale and retail financial services, including leasing services, to MMSA and their dealers. MMCA has approximately 110 employees.

We also have nationwide "field " employees assigned to our other regional offices in Bridgeport, NJ (Northeastern Region), Schaumburg, IL (North Central Region), Orlando, FL (Southeastern Region), or Irving, TX (Southwestern Region). Also, Mitsubishi Motors has PDC's in Bridgeport, NJ, Lithia Springs, GA and Ft. Worth, TX. We have port facilities in Pt. Hueneme, CA, Tacoma, WA, Brunswick, GA and Baltimore, MD, as well as at our Manufacturing Division in Normal, IL.

Because we need to provide outstanding service to our dealers and customers, some departments remain open on certain holidays. In these instances, affected employees receive Holiday Pay in addition to their regular pay.

The amount an employee may be awarded is based on how well employees work individually and collectively to achieve our profitability and sales goals. To assist employees in providing for their long-term financial security, Mitsubishi Motors also offers a fully company-paid retirement plan plus a 401(K) plan.
You and your family can each be driving a new Mitsubishi every year! You can lease up to four Mitsubishi vehicles including one for yourself and three others for other immediate family member at any one time. Monthly lease payments are deducted from the employee's paycheck. Insurance and maintenance costs are covered as part of the lease payment. The lease terms are 12 months or 15,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
