Vehicle Technician

Purpose: Automotive Research and Development Facility in Long Beach, CA is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to add to their team.

Job Duties

Candidate for this position will be responsible for preparing test vehicles for testing by engineering team, including fabrication, changing parts, instrumentation, and setting up vehicle to the required specification. Position will also entail setting up various electrical and mechanical tests, including the rendering of mechanical and electrical blueprints and schematics.
Specifically, the candidate will conduct testing on the following systems: HVAC Systems, steering systems, transmission, brake systems, and engine systems.

Skills/Education

-Minimum of one year college level automotive courses or two-year degree in auto related field.
-Minimum one year experience as an automotive technician; prefer one year technician in automotive Research and Development Facility.
-Vehicle Testing.
-Automotive Service Excellence Certification preferred.
