Test Technician I


Advanced Technology Services (ATS) employees provide professional, comprehensive technical services to an impressive customer base, specializing in fields of information technology and industrial services.

In this position, you will be responsible for the installation of instrumentation to the test vehicles. You would be responsible for installation of and mounting of transducers, strain gages, temperature sensors, attaching accelerometers, etc., and checking/attaching wire connections to various components. You will also be responsible for performing a simulated calibration on test devices with a simulated load. After testing is completed you will be responsible for the de-installation and tear down of all test instrumentation.

Qualifications
Associates degree from a junior college or technical school and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be familiar with Hazmat Issues
Prefer familiarity with Quality Systems
Must have a basic knowledge of instrumentation
Must have a basic knowledge of test and data collection
Must have ability to operate PC's and associated software packages
Must have knowledge of test cell instrumentation and data collection systems
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
