Territory Manager - Phoenix, Arizona

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit to help us grow our territory and reap the rewards. At Instrument Sales & Service (http://www.instrumentsales.com/) in Phoenix, AZ you will gain the experience it takes to get ahead, while receiving a competitive benefits package that includes a base plus commission salary plan, health, life and disability insurance benefits, 401K matching, liberal earned time off, (including a sabbatical program, flexible work schedules and tuition reimbursement. We also provide a comprehensive training program to build the foundation for a successful sales career at ISS.

This individual will learn the sales process and develop selling, customer relations and marketing skills to help maximize growth within an assigned territory. Responsibilites include, but are not limited to:

•Manage and grow existing account as assigned, establishing a professional sales relationship with key purchasing decision makers at each dealership.
•Manage and grow relationship with regional sales managers in assigned territory; attend regional sales manager meetings as appropriate (invitation).
•Generate new business opportunities by calling upon, qualifying and penetrating current and new target markets as appropriate.
•Responsible for meeting established sales and performance goals.
•Collaborate with sales staff to collect information, problem-solve, and promote customer satisfaction.
•Identify and promote any ISS product which has value to the assigned customer base.
•Prepare, present and sell proposals demonstrating the benefits of ISS’ products/services to key contacts in targeted accounts.
•Demonstrate features and benefits associated with the company’s products, services and Integrated System Solutions, and when appropriate, may negotiate terms of sales to secure orders in accordance with company policies and marketing strategies.
•Responds promptly to customer needs. Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance.
•Observe and report marketing data pertaining to market trends and competition.
•Attend trade shows (a minimum of four customer sponsored sales or service meetings) and other relevant gatherings).
Prepare and submit monthly reports as necessarya.
REQUIREMENTS
Five plus years experience in progressively responsible sales position. Proven sales track record. Strong communication, negotiating and selling skills. Coaching/mentoring experience with less senior sales staff. Ability to adjust communication style to varying audiences and potential customers

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adjust communication style based on a diverse audience. Strong organization skills, competitive sales drive and commitment to maintaining superior customer relationships. Proficient in using Microsoft Office software products. Basic math and mechanical aptitude. Strong interest in learning product line and selling skills to quickly establish successful relationships with customers. Valid Driver’s license and good driving record. Ability to travel extensively (more than 50%).
