Software Engineer - Automotive Embedded Systems

EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER Our client, an engineering services firm with an expertise in next generation automotive technology, is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to work on their next generation products. In this position, you will specialize both in software development and integration. You値l be a full life cycle engineer, responsible for evaluating and modifying embedded code based on customer requirements, industry standards, and requests from the product team. Though your work will primarily be at the device driver level, you値l also get into some OS to high level control functions. You may also become involved in tool development for Windows/Linux. You値l never be bored in this position, as you値l get to touch on a large variety of systems and technologies. No one on this team is pigeonholed and you値l get to wear a variety of hats. Job Requirements
Qualified candidates will have a BSEE and 3+ years of experience in embedded software development. Specifically, you must have experience in C language, C compilers, embedded microcontrollers, knowledge of RTOS for automotive systems, software emulators, and some exposure to powertrain controls. It痴 also important that you have knowledge of vehicle communication buses (J1850, J1939, or CAN) and exposure to calibration/analysis tools such as Matlab, Simulink, C, INCA, CANalyzer, etc. As you will be working on some military projects, you must hold at least a Green Card.
