At BMW, every service event is an opportunity to demonstrate the superior value of the BMW brand. Therefore, every technical professional at a BMW retail center must excel in listening, diagnosing, communicating and working efficiently.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist Dispatcher in planning work distribution and ensure appropriate assignment of repair orders to Technicians.Check progress of repair orders throughout the day.Inspect the quality of work performed and assist Technicians. Ensure customer vehicles are repaired and maintained properly—“fixed right the first time.” Conduct periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality. Road test vehicles to quality-check work performed.Use online systems to communicate with BMW of North America and request diagnostic assistance and other information.Provide Technicians and Service Advisors with technical information and repair procedures. Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.Build and maintain knowledge of BMW products and services and technical expertise by on-the-job training and attending training programs.Conduct in-center training and coaching of technicians.Assist Service Manager with issues involving personnel, facilities, tools or equipment that could affect productivity, efficiency, work quality or customer satisfaction. Assist with recruiting and selection of service technicians.Coordinate information, processes and relationships with Service Manager, Service Advisors, Dispatcher, Parts Manager and Parts Advisors.Maintain an effective technical information library.Operate and maintain the service department according to the safety and appearance standards established by the retail facility and appropriate government entities.Meet all requirements of state and federal law for automobile repair and consumer protection.

This position requires a minimum of 10 years with BMW Franchise Dealer Experience.
