Senior Quality Technician

2AM Group (Automotive, Aeronautics and Marine) is a technical service provider of Project Management, Product Assembly, and Engineering and Quality capacities for manufacturers and is headquartered in Duncan, SC.

The company's primary focus is to support all of the service needs for manufacturers requiring product quality and planning for the mobility industries. Many of the technical services include pre-production related planning and engineering issues; however, the firm also supports manufacturing improvement and quality performance after the initial production phase.

2AM Group is currently searching for a Senior Quality Technician to support manufacturing in an area which produces automotive interiors.

Job Duties listed below, but not limited to:

•Associate will support daily manufacturing process to ensure compliance with established processes and procedures.

•Coordinate with various Advanced Supplier Quality Engineers (ASQ) for supplier rework, inventory purge, tracking tuning loops in a very fast paced “hands-on” manufacturing environment.

•Follow-up on supplier product at receiving inspection, pull rejection lists and investigate/report status of findings. Discuss findings and effectively communicate with site Advanced Supplier Quality Engineers (ASQ) or Supply Quality Assurance Engineers (SQA).

•Interface with third party certification groups and manufacturing to ensure acceptable product arrives line-side.

•Monitor and react to unfavorable trends in quality data in production and in customer returns.

•Evaluate product, processes, and supplier quality issues. May inspect units to verify conformance to specs, blueprints,
manufacturing instructions, and engineering notes.

Pay depending upon experience.

REQUIREMENTS
•Must be familiar with inspection, rework, repair, sort and subassembly automotive processes.

•Must be familiar with return material processes, root cause analysis, and auditing principles. Candidate must posses a strong background in quality concepts including. Knowledge FMEA, PPAP’s/ISIR control plans, and process flows is highly desireable.

•Must be able to work from blueprints if needed.

•3-5 years of QA/QC experience in an automotive setting.

•Must have experience with Microsoft Office.

•Must be a self-starter, being able to work independently.

•Must have the ability to interact in a cross functional, multi-level environment.

•Must be able to walk or stand for 8 or more hours per day.
