Senior Group Financial Analyst

A large international automotive supplier is seeking a Senior Group Financial Analyst for their regional offices in the Monroe City, MO area. This position reports to the Group President with a dotted line to the CFO. This person will be responsible for a wide range of duties which include but are not limited to financial modeling, broad based financial analysis such as calculating, the return on invested capital, net return on sales, Make v. Buy, EBITDA, etc. You will be involved in the evaluation of the cost accounting for the operations under you to determine if you are making or losing money on individual product lines and parts. You will be involved in activity based cost accounting, financial statement analysis, operational analysis, etc. This is a new position and it is very high profile. You will work closely with the Group President, CFO and senior management at corporate.
REQUIREMENTS
You will have a minimum of a 4 year degree in accounting or finance and we prefer a MBA. This position requires a minimum of 9 years finance experience with at least 6 years in manufacturing financial analysis and cost accounting in a plant environment. The ideal candidate would be a cost manager over multiple plants with strong analytical skills. We will also consider a plant controller with a MBA and strong analytical and cost accounting skills. We are looking for professionals who are a step above the norm and who can hit the ground running. You must have a proven background in financial analysis and preferably have been a controller in a plant so that you can better understand the analysis of manufacturing operations. You will be able to demonstrate hands on experience in cost accounting in an activity based cost environment.
