Sales Engineer
Successful Global Automotive Supplier in need of Sales Engineer.
Responsibile for interaction with automotive manufacturers, including international and service entities. Coordinate visits to the engineering, purchasing and manufacturing sites of those automotive manufacturers, provide technical assistance in part design and applications, perform and/or participate in systematic problem solving of part applications, develop quotations for new business opportunities and /or to reflect product design evolution.
Lead APQP/Project Management meetings to communicate and ensure customer timelines are met, negotiate and/or assist in resolving customer issues (pricing, quality, etc.), support in developing business plans, sales forecasts, marketing materials, etc., contribute to the development and implementation of product improvements, review and monitor product development activities to ensure that the customer’s expectations are met and/or exceeded, document and report as appropriate, resultant information, all requirements. Perform customer sales presentations, marketing presentations. Requires knowledge of computers and related software, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. Customer experience with Daimler/Chrysler and GM is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree, Engineering Preferred, 3 plus years experience in: Sales, Application Engineering, Product Engineering, Account Management, Automotive Industry.
