SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Amtex, Inc., $130 Million automotive joint venture between Lear Corporation, and Hayashi-Telempu. Amtex, Inc. located in Lebanon, OH is a Tier I automotive supplier to the Japanese OEM’s. We currently have a need for a Sales Account Manager representing Amtex interior automotive flooring and acoustical interior trim components to our customer base in the Manteca, CA area. Position would report to the Sales Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidate should have:

•Proven ability to manage sales projects from initial recognition of the business opportunity to production launch both internally at Amtex and externally with the OEM.
•Ability to manage the sales activities of a given account that are consistent with the customer requirements of the Tier I supplier.
•Ability to identify new business opportunities to further expand sales at existing account as well as define opportunities for new business growth.
•Capability to transform customer expectations into internal goals and objectives of the manufacturing location, and track accordingly.
•Familiarity with Design and Quality terminology as it relates to our product and ability to communicate with Purchasing, Quality and Design windows at our customers
•Good oral and written presentation skills.
•Ability to maintain and foster current customer relationship in support of future growth and sales opportunities.
•Familiarity in working with Microsoft Word, EXCEL, Powerpoint
•Good systematic organization skill to manage sales account both internally at manufacturing location and externally with the customer. PDCA.
•Proven ability to transform customer goals and objectives into internal objectives in the generation of new sales.
•Familiarity with Japanese business work environment, and ability to work in a global, multi-tasked, multi-cultural environment.
•Ability to travel to customers when necessary.
•Comfort level working in a multi-tasked, multi-cultural environment.
•BS in Business Management or equivalent work experience.
•2~3 years experience in automotive industry preferred.
•Solid attendance record.

Note
Bilingual (English and Japanese) is a plus.
