Quality Technician

Afternoon Shift Quality/CMM Technician opening in Battle Creek! Effective: September 15th, 2006You will be a key contributor to the successful launch of our customer's new product. Individual will work on plant floor inspecting samples of final product to make sure that selected pieces match dimensions and guidelines outlined in blueprints. We are ready to interview and hire immediately for this long term, contract opening.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This is a physically active work environment. Individual must be comfortable moving quickly on their feet for extended periods. Must be ok with crouching, sitting, climbing and lifting up to 50 lbs. at once.
___________________________________________________________________REQUIRED EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Some college coursework with a technical focus.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Must have previous quality tech experience. Candidate must have experience with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, etc. Ideal candidate must also have experience working in a manufacturing/production environment. Solid written and oral communication skills are a must.Individual must be willing to demonstrate established record of self direction and self motivation.
Attention to detail is a must; level of attention cannot waiver throughout the shift.Must have established attendance record at previous positions. References checks will be conducted with previous employers.Must have basic CMM experience.
