As the Quality/Reliability Engineer you will be responsible for providing support to product development by utilizing your strong skills to improve the quality of our customer's lighting products.
Job Responsibilities:

Key forward model projects and current model projects to implement warranty or reliability improvement opportunities.

Interface with the Program Management, Manufacturing and PD teams to assure customer quality requirements are understood.

Manage Quality and Reliability disciplines for Forward Model Programs.

Maintain awareness of program Quality deliverables

Provide coaching as required.

Provide Current Model support to identify and quantify PD Quality/ Warranty issues and drive resolution to prevent recurrence

Lead quality roadmaps with current model groups.

Provide training in Quality disciplines to PD Engineering, Manufacturing and Program Mgmt.

Participate in PFMEA, DFMEA, and Control Plan development

Participate in Plant Quality Review meetings and support Single Agenda for Quality matrix development and warranty analysis.

Facilitate the Product Quality Review meetings for PD Engineering to drive actions and resources to high impact issues.

Skills required:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline.

Strong leadership, communication, engineering, and problem solving skills

Experience in automotive components and systems is desirable.

Knowledge of Quality Tools (i.e. FMEA, DVP, Control Plans, APQP, etc) is required.
