Purchasing Manager, Raw Materials

Currently we are seeking a qualified Sr. Purchasing Manager to be responsible for management of purchasing raw materials for use in the local plant. Manager will also support multi-plant operations, with an emphasis of achieving cost savings with suppliers including contract negotiations. Automotive experience in the manufacturing environment is a must.
Responsible for all aspects of sourcing new programs including supplier evaluation, quoting, and negotiating long term contract agreements. Must have a proven track record of cost reduction, benchmarking, qualifying suppliers and international sourcing.
REQUIREMENTS
All qualified candidates must have a Bachelor of Science Degree with a minimum 5 years in a Buyer position with concentration in Raw Materials. MS Office proficiency is required.
