Process Technician

Job Summary:Maintain, change over and set up a blow molding press and Robotic downline through a documented process of procedures and checklists.
Duties and Requirements of the Job:
1.Set up, maintain, and change over a co-extrusion blow molding machine
2.Verify operational parameters of machine
3.Trouble shoot blow molding machine
4.Maintain a clean and safe working environment around the presses.
5.Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all aspects of robot downline equipment and materials for the production line
6.Documentation of line operation and operational parameters
7.Complete proper paperwork accurately
8.Adjustment of plastic welding operation to maintain acceptable weld quality
9.Maintain a clean and safe working environment around the presses.
10.All other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Training, Knowledge and Experience:
1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. PLC (Siemens) is a plus
3. Prior experience in a maintenance/ mechanical role is preferredPhysical Requirements to Perform the Duties of the Job:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle,
or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and talk or hear. Theemployee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and /ormove up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee isfrequently exposed to high, precarious places; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionallyexposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
REQUIREMENTS
