Process Engineer - MS

Process Engineer Required Education: BS Degree in Engineering field and a min of two years experience in a related field. Related experience, training, education or some combination of all three may be considered.

Preferred Skills, Training, Exp:
MODAPTS Certification preferred, not required.
A/B PLC Programming and Troubleshooting, preferred, not required

Required Computer:
Allen Bradley PLC Programming preferred

Job Responsibilities:
Provides the Engineering support to the assigned program and/or area to ensure that the product is built in accordance with customer and division print requirements while maintaining production flow.
Facilitate employee involvement activities (operator training on new equipment, participation in 8-D meetings).
Trains production team members in the operation of specialized test equipment. These include Function Test, PODS Calibration and Torque Monitoring equipment.
Develop assembly aids and fixtures
Provide production run off documentation during the buy-off of the new equipment.
Maintains all documentation relating to process through the Process Book. Including Line Balance, Take Time calculations, Capacity studies, PEIL studies, PFMEA, Poke-Yoke Development and Process Flow.
Create preliminary Operator Description Sheets for new processes with the assistance of Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing.
Update and maintain plant layout using Auto Cad or Auto Cad Lite.
Support trial builds for VA/VE's, engineering changes, Kaizen improvements.
Evaluate on-line raw material requirements.
Act as backup resource for Controls Engineer and IT Coordinator in their absence
