New Car Sales Manager Trainee

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Forecast goals and objectives for the department.
Maintain new vehicle inventory numbers to support attainment of department goals.
Identify and merchandize old age units daily keep them merchandised and cleaned properly.
Establish and maintain documentation for communication to the General Sales Manager regarding inventory stocking levels, models and equipments levels.
Participate in the developing of an Advertising/Marketing Plan for the department.
Assist the General Sales Manager in controlling expenses in the new car department.
Promote communication and teamwork with all other departments.
Hire, train, motivate, counsel and monitor the performance of all new car sales employees.
Direct and schedule the activities of all new car department employees.
Communicate and enforce the dealership policies and procedures.
Guide sales staff in setting their objectives.
Identify those sales staff that requires additional training or counseling if they are failing to meet their objectives.
Recommend for dismissal any salesperson failing to meet company standards.
Provide support to Assistant Managers and any sales staff to close deals.
Attend meetings and training as scheduled.
Understand and stay abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect the automobile sales industry.
REQUIREMENTS
Determined to be a part of a winning sales force.

Valid drivers license
Bilingual is a plus
