Long term contract to possible permanent employment opportunity located in Kalamazoo, MI for experienced Mechanical Engineer with food processing, pharmaceutical, consumer products and/or packaging systems experience.
Mechanical Engineer needed in Kalamazoo, MI with following requirements:
BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred OR BS/ BA college degree in a technical discipline. Microstation experience a plus.
8-12 years experience in food processing, pharmaceutrical and/or packaging systems. Experience with conveyors, material handling equipment, extruders, dryers, coating drums, bar coding equipment, sterilizers, cookers, shrink wrappers, sheet metal food hoppers, pumps, HVAC (chilled water, forced water, steam) a plus. Will work closely with customer to optimize product flow for new equipment layouts.

·Demonstrated ability to enforce all applicable FDA, EPA, OSHA, and GMI specific safety and regulatory laws, policies, or practices.
