Mechanical Engineer - ADAMS

Perform kinematics and Dynamic analysis and write reports for 787 and 777 electro-mechanical Pilot Control Linkage Systems using ADAMS, UG-Kinematics, Easy5 and/or Matlab. Perform Hand Calculation Free Body Diagram to resolve static linkage loads. Work closely with designers and propose design solution to resolve system performance problems and load magnification issues. Work Closely with the Stress Group to define loads and help with Boundary Conditions Definitions. Participate in design reviews and proposal activities. Requirements:

Experience in the area of Kinematics, Dynamics and Control Theory. Proficient in using the latest version of the ADAMS Package (Must have). Detailed knowledge of Control Theory and the use of MATLAB/Easy5 Packages is a plus. Proven ability to document results in professional reports. Proven ability to work with designers to define and solve problems Familiarity with Unigraphics-Kinematics is a plus. Familiarity with Mathcad is a plus. Familiarity with Boeing Analysis Methodology is a plus. Familiarity with Pilot Control Linkage Mechanisms is a plus. Familiarity with Mathcad is a plus. Familiarity with FAR requirements as it applies to Chapter 27 is a plus.
